Hello! My name is Thu, from Vietnam.

I have just been here for 5 months. However, it seems to be for an age because I miss my family so much. America is totally different from my country in culture and life style. Fortunately, I am getting accustomed to the life here, even it is not easy at all.

I love traveling and New Age music. I am also interest in nature. That's the reason why I love photos by National Geographic a lot because it brings the real beautiful nature to me. I feel that the nature is so incredible and amazing. If it can be, I wish I would be a person who is an expert in the nature and living creature :) .

An exciting journey became a nightmare.

There was an American couple who wanted to celebrate their first-year wedding anniversary. They had decided to go on a long journey to South America where has many beautiful beaches and attractive festivals. They packed all necessary things for a long vacation and took off with excited emotion.

Their first destination was in a country of carnaval and soccer, Brazil. They were so excited right after they departed from the airplane. They went to the hotel for a check-in and then they left for a tour right after that. Before going to Brazil, they found out on the internet about adventurous tours to many wild islands with very cheap price range. Moreover, they are pack-back travelers who love adventure. As a result, they decided to book one of that tour without any reviews. Back to their trip, they were picked up at the hotel with an expensive car from a tourist company. It took them mostly more than two hours from the city to a country side where looked so old and poor. Then they were dropped and asked to wait to be picked up by another one. However, there was no any car for them. They were cheated and shocked. The day was getting end, but they did not know how to get back to the hotel. Fortunately, there was a truck passing by. It was such an very old truck with many poor farmers, children and animals on the truck. The chickens were running around. The dogs were barking. Children were screaming. Farmers were fighting to get on the truck. There was like a World War 3 in front of them.  The husband tried to call for a complain and a help, but the phone was out of range. They had no choice any more. Finally, they decided to fight with others to get on that old truck to get back the city.

They were disappointed with the trip to South America. They thought about ski sport because it was winter. Therefore, they decided to go to the north, particularly Canada. They enjoyed their winter vacation in Canada for the rest of the trip. They visited many beautiful places and cities like Toronto, Montreal. When there was few days left, they wanted to go skiing. That was such an unlucky couple ever. Her husband got an accident when he was skiing. He got injured his arms and legs seriously. The doctors said that he must be in the hospital for one week for a treatment. Fortunately, he recovered very well from the injury within one week. Then the couple were back their home right after that.

Their vacation was so memorable and terrible. It was such a nightmare that they never wanted to dream about. They might have to be more careful for the next trip in order to avoid many unexpected problems.

Confession respond # 3 : A childish trouble brought a profound lesson.

Childhood time is memorable to most people. It frequently reminds us many happy things or even bad ones. Sometimes, I thinks about my childhood and suddenly laugh at my stupid troubles. 

The trouble happened when I was in seventh grade. Some friends enticed me to not go to school on that day. We planed to go to fruit garden for a picnic for a whole day. So I lied to my mom that I went to school and came to my friend's house for doing homework after. My mom didn't have any doubt about me. I lied to her sucessfully.

In fact, I hang out with my friends to a fruit garden for a picnic. In the past, when we were children or teenagers, going to fruit garden was the most favorite activity for all of us. Everything would be fine if the owner of the fruit garden was not my mom's friend that I didn't know. It was an unlucky day for me when my mom came to her friend's house for some fresh fruit. As a result, I was caught by my mom. The most memorable thing reminds me about this phenomenon is that my mom did not yell at me any word. She said nothing about my fault and did not talk to me almost 3 days later. She looked so upset and disappointed about me. Her silence made me feel so guilty. I almost repented what I had done and lied to my mom. The I apologized her and tried to do many nice things to make her not disappointed about me any more.

This childish trouble made me understand more about my mom. It shows me how my mom always trusts in me. After that trouble, I promised myself to not lie to my mom any more.

Write the bad things that are done to you in sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble

Some say that life is unpredictable and is not always as smooth as we think. During entire our life, we have not only a lot of relationships that we will get involved in but also many obstacles which we will face with. How can we handle all unpredictable things in our life so that we can feel peaceful? The proverb " Write the bad things that are done to you in sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble" seems to be a good way for us to have a happy life.

This proverb is actually very meant to me. I am trying to practice it every second of my daily life. In my opinion, the proverb means that when some bad things are done to you, you should forget it forever, but you should remember for good things. For example, when your friend do some things that hurt you, you should forgive about what they have hurt you and should never remind that. Forgiveness is very powerful because it can help us to heal our hurt soul. When you give some one your sympathy, you will receive it back in the future. It is the good way to refresh and keep us peaceful. In addition, when people make good things to you, you should keep them as happy memories and take them during your entire life.

It is a meaningful proverb which I am trying to practice in my real. The good things should be kept, but the bad things should be take away.
